Registration for Spring 2024 Baseball will begin on March 1

Spring Season of 2024 will bring a number of new firsts for Fort Youth Baseball. The current plan for the Spring 2024 season will include:

-A machine pitch baseball division for 1st & 2nd grade players
-Multiple divisions for 3rd-10th grades.
-Opening week of games against teams from neighboring communities.
-Seasons to include 10-12 games for 1st & 2nd graders and 15-18 games for all other divisions.
-Expanded Home Run Derby & skills competitions
-Group Preseason practices that will continue on from Winter clinics (weather permitting)
-All players will participate in evaluations intended to determine skill levels. Teams are built using the results of the evaluations with the goal of developing balanced teams.
-The season will begin with team practices on April 28.
-Cost for the Spring Season will be $65 for the Machine Pitch division (1st & 2nd grade) and $90 for all other divisions.
-All Star teams at multiple age levels to represent the league at District Little League tournament, selected by tryout and coach observation after the regular season begins.

Registration opens: March 1, 2024
Registration closes: April 14, 2024

In person assistance for registrations at Memorial Park:
April 9 (Tuesday), 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
April 14 (Sunday), 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Players Receive:
-Team Jersey and baseball cap to keep
-1st-2nd grades: 10-12 game season
-3rd-10th grade: 15-18 game season
-Twice a week practice prior to games
-Once a week practice after games begin
(individual coaches may offer more or less practices at their discretion)
-End of season tournament

Families Supply:
-Baseball pants (preferably grey)
-Baseball glove
-Baseball bat (must be stamped USA Baseball)
-Batting helmet
**Fort Youth Baseball will have some helmets and baseball bats available for shared use during practices & games
